Terms of Service

HerRhythm is a cycle-aware fitness, nutrition, and recovery planning app. Our AI coach, Liv, generates training and lifestyle recommendations based on published research, your cycle, your goals, and what you tell her about how you feel.

HerRhythm is not a medical device and Liv is not a doctor. Nothing in the app is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Recommendations are general in nature and calibrated to the strength of the underlying research, which we grade openly in Liv’s Brain. Individual bodies vary, and published research — particularly on female physiology — has real, acknowledged limits. Always listen to your own body, and talk to a doctor or other qualified professional about any health condition, persistent or severe symptoms, pregnancy concerns, or before starting a new exercise or nutrition programme, especially if you are managing a condition such as PCOS or endometriosis.

If something feels seriously wrong, don’t wait for Liv — contact a healthcare provider or emergency services.

Plans, insights, and chat responses are generated by an AI model and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or not applicable to your situation, even when grounded in cited research. We work to make Liv’s recommendations evidence-based and to represent the strength of that evidence honestly, but you should use judgement, not follow any recommendation that doesn’t feel right for your body, and treat AI output as a starting point for thinking, not a final answer.

You must be at least 16 years old to use HerRhythm. You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. The information you give us during onboarding should be accurate to the best of your knowledge, since it directly shapes the recommendations you receive.

• New accounts get a 7-day free trial of full access. One trial per email address — deleting your account and signing up again with the same email won't restart the clock.
• The first 100 subscribers can lock in a founding-member rate of £5/month. After that, standard pricing applies: £12/month or £100/year.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your profile page, which opens Stripe's billing portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't store your card details.
• If price is a genuine barrier, email us — we'd rather work something out than have you walk away.

You agree not to:

• Use HerRhythm for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could harm, disable, or overburden the service.
• Attempt to extract, scrape, or reverse-engineer our evidence base, prompts, or underlying systems.
• Share your account with others or use it on behalf of someone else without their knowledge.
• Use the service to generate content that is harmful, abusive, or intended to circumvent the safety guidance built into Liv.

You own what you enter into HerRhythm — your logs, goals, and messages. You grant us the licence needed to process that content in order to provide the service to you (including sending relevant context to OpenAI to generate responses, as described in our Privacy Policy). The evidence base, prompts, design, and other HerRhythm-created material remain our intellectual property.

HerRhythm is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate, available, and useful, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted access or that any recommendation will produce a particular result. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, or for outcomes related to health, fitness, or medical decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

You can delete your account at any time from your profile page — this permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

We may update these terms as the app evolves. We’ll update the date at the top of this page, and let you know directly if a change is significant. Continuing to use HerRhythm after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
