Welcome to HerRhythm. By using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use HerRhythm.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using HerRhythm, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

These terms apply to all users, including those who try our demo without creating an account.

2. Who Can Use HerRhythm

• HerRhythm is designed for individuals who menstruate and want personalized cycle-based recommendations.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use HerRhythm. If you're under 16, we recommend parental guidance.
• By using HerRhythm, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating your account and filling out the questionnaire
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
• Update your information if it changes (you can do this in your Profile)
• Use HerRhythm only for personal, non-commercial purposes

You agree NOT to:

• Share your account with others
• Use HerRhythm for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the security of HerRhythm
• Scrape or extract data from HerRhythm using automated tools
• Misrepresent your identity or provide false information

5. Accuracy of Information You Provide

HerRhythm's recommendations are only as good as the information you provide. You are responsible for entering accurate cycle dates, symptoms, and health information.

We are not liable for inaccurate recommendations caused by incorrect data entry.

6. Evidence-Based Recommendations

Our recommendations are based on peer-reviewed scientific research. However:

• Research in women's health has gaps and limitations (which we acknowledge transparently)
• Every body is different - what works for most people may not work for you
• Scientific understanding evolves - we update recommendations as new research emerges
• Individual results vary - we make no guarantees about specific outcomes

7. Intellectual Property

Our Content:

All content on HerRhythm (text, graphics, logos, algorithms, recommendations, design) is owned by HerRhythm and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission.

Your Data:

You own your personal data. By using HerRhythm, you grant us permission to use your data to provide personalized recommendations, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep HerRhythm available 24/7, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Maintenance and updates
• Technical issues
• Circumstances beyond our control (server outages, etc.)

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of HerRhythm at any time.

9. Free Service & Future Pricing

HerRhythm is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features in the future, we'll:

• Notify you in advance
• Clearly explain what's free vs. paid
• Give you the option to continue with free features or upgrade

Existing users will not be charged retroactively for features that were previously free.

10. Limitation of Liability

Some jurisdictions don't allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HerRhythm, its creators, and service providers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of HerRhythm
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Inaccurate information you provide

You can terminate anytime:

You can delete your account at any time. See our Data Deletion Guide for instructions.

We can terminate or suspend access if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• We detect fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Required by law

If we terminate your account, we'll notify you via email when possible.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do:

• We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top
• We'll notify you of significant changes via email (if you've opted in) or a website notice
• Continued use of HerRhythm after changes means you accept the new terms

If you don't agree with the updated terms, you can delete your account.

14. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom.

If you have a dispute with HerRhythm, please contact us first at coachyourcycle@gmail.com. We'll work to resolve it amicably.

If we can't resolve it informally, any legal proceedings will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining parts will continue in full effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and HerRhythm.
